Urbas Fuenlabrada is reinforced with Cheick Diallo’s NBA experience

Urbas Fuenlabrada has announced the signing of Malian center Cheick Diallo (24 years old, 2.03 meters), who has 180 games of NBA experience and comes from Russian Avtodor Saratov, until the end of the season.

Trained in the United States and after playing at the University of Kansas, Diallo made the leap to the NBA with number 33 of the 2016 Draft and since then he has played four seasons in the American league, the first three with New Orleans Pelicans and the last with Phoenix Suns.

In the NBA, he averaged 5.3 points and 4.2 rebounds in 12 minutes on average per game, with percentages of 60 percent in field goals and 77 percent in free throws. His arrival at Fuenlabrada comes from the Russian VTB League, where he was adding 7.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.
