Respiratory diseases, such as asthma and bronchitis, are becoming more common, especially in children and the elderly who are vulnerable to air pollution. In addition, rising temperatures and floods are also causing the emergence of infectious diseases, such as dengue fever and malaria, which are spread by mosquitoes.
