Urban Police Regulation in Salerno: Tringali ends up in the crosshairs

The union has uncovered the already particularly tense nerve; but it is now clear that the new Municipal Regulation of urban police has become an exquisitely political case entirely internal to the majority. In fact, the package of rules has been under discussion in the Statute and Regulations Council Committee for months; and twice the measure, included in the agenda of the City Council, was withdrawn at the last moment, without any particular explanation and without anyone among the councilors asking for an account and reason for the step back.
But what is holding back the final approval of a text that, apparently, should not have any political connotation and that, indeed, is risking creating serious problems in the daily work of the city police?
The reasons, according to rumors, lie in the never serene relationship between the city councilors, first and foremost the majority, and the councilor for Security and Transparency, Claudio Tringali, the only surviving technician in a now entirely political council.
