The fact that graffiti in public space does not automatically represent vandalism, but is also art, has now become established in society. The “Urban Art Festival Styria” has also made a major contribution to this over the past 13 years. Because every year, the festival – especially its artistic director and mastermind Norbert Lipp – invites national and international street artists to Styria. Dozens of works of art in public space have already been created as a result – above all in Graz and in eastern Styria, but also in Leoben or Leibnitz.
