The production of Ural motorcycles will be moved from Russian Irbit to Kazakhstan’s Petropavlovsk. In parallel with this, the native plant in the Russian Federation is waiting for serious personnel reductions.

Ural Motorcycles will produce Ural motorcycles in Petropavlovsk. The Irbit motorcycle plant in the Sverdlovsk region will continue to produce only frames and body elements for motorcycles. In Russia, part of the company’s employees will be made redundant.
The decision to transfer production was made due to the lack of components that fell under the sanctions, as well as due to a ban on the import of equipment from Russia. The company’s management does not hide its pessimistic forecasts regarding the decline in sales. The imposition of sanctions against a number of enterprises, as well as the complication of supply chains, will limit the possibilities for the production of Russian motorcycles. Ural Motorcycles has dealerships in the US, Canada and Mexico.
