On May 13 at 20:00 on TNT the long-awaited continuation of one of the cult projects of the channel and all Russian TV in general starts. “Univer,” the longest-running Russian sitcom in history, is returning. The new series, which will continue the story of the heroes of the original “Univer” and “New Dorm”, is called “Univer. 13 years later.” The events of the new comedy series by TNT and Comedy Club Production will unfold three years after the story told in the project “Univer. 10 years later”. The Ural Meridian news agency was told about this by the press service of the television company.
Two Ural actors will take part in the continuation of the series. One of them Sergey Piorov, who played Pavel Vladimirovich Zuev in Univer, was born in Yekaterinburg and studied at the Yekaterinburg Theater Institute. The actor’s filmography includes 60 roles, and Sergei also plays in the theater.
The Ural actress also took part in the series Nina Kirillova: “In the series, I have a small role as an administrator in a hotel in Nizhny Novgorod, who interacts with one of the main characters, Anton (Stanislav Yarushin). There weren’t many shooting days, but the impressions were positive! The whole crew is just wonderful. I am very grateful that I was able to touch such a project at least a little. After all, “Univer” is a series that is known in every corner of Russia. Even I have been watching this series since school. And, of course, sometimes audiences don’t want good stories to end.”
Nina was born and raised in Yekaterinburg. Like Sergei Pioro, she graduated from the Yekaterinburg State Theater Institute. The actress speaks warmly about her hometown: “I’m from Yekaterinburg and I love this city very much! I don’t go there as often as I would like, but it will never be enough for me. I grew up in the Urals, my parents and almost my entire family are there. I used to love to turn on music in my headphones and walk around the city. I really love our Iset embankment, arboretum, park near Lake Shartash and, of course, Vayner Street. For me, Ekaterinburg is a city of love, inspiration and my first steps.”
To his roles in the series “Univer. 13 years later” will return: Stanislav Yarushin, Anna Khilkevich, Ararat Keshchyan, Alexander Martynov, Ekaterina Molokhovskaya and Vitaly Gogunsky. Producers of the project: Vyacheslav Dusmukhametov, Andrey Levin and Taimuraz Badziev. Creative producers: Evgeny Sobolev, Anton Kolbasov, Artem Goncharov and Sergey Kinstler, executive producer – Alan Bataev. The director of the project is Semyon Litovchin.
Earlier, the Ural Meridian news agency wrote that the actor from Yekaterinburg Maxim Bityukov starred in the series Sergei Svetlakov “Cossack”.
