UPV Blood Donor Day will be held on Wednesday, November 16, on that day the ground floor of the Student House will be set up to make a massive donation. The time will be from 9:00 to 20:00.
It is a question of raising awareness among the university community on the lack of blood in the blood bank and on the importance of donating in times of need. 650 units of blood are needed per day to provide the service in Valencian hospitals.
All the volunteers of this activity must carry out a 2-hour training workshop, Wednesday 9 November, in the Classroom 1, in the Student House, from 12:00 to 14:00. If you have already attended the workshop in previous years, it is not necessary to come, although it is advisable to update yourself and participate in the organization of the 16.
The main task of the volunteers is to support the dissemination and information to donors, to promote the activity to increase the donation.
And remember that all volunteering activities are transferred to a sum of hours of participation in the volunteering platform in order to then be able to recognize freely configurable credits.
