No, it won’t be easy. Far from it. In the coming weeks, Frédérique Spigt (65) will play together with the actress and singer Annet Malherbe (also 65) and the North Pole Orchestra in a large number of large theaters in the Netherlands.
Big halls, it’s exciting, even for a seasoned singer like Spigt. Whether he’s on a much-discussed TV show with Raven van Dorst (thanks to Waylon’s confession of cheating in that episode), or creates a weekly podcast with Katja Schuurman—he does it with ease.

But this? Performing with an orchestra is magical, she says, but also hard work this fall. “Every note has to be right, of course.”
Earlier this week, he played a performance on the talk show Khalid and Sofia not good, he thought to himself. “I was really awake, you should know that. Because everything went wrong. For example, I didn’t hear the piano, so I didn’t get any guidance at the beginning.”
