Chairman of the Organization Siddiqiyah (Orshid) Joko Herwanto clarified the video oration of the Orshid administrator inviting hundreds of worshipers to fight for the Shiddiqiyah order, a day after the attempt to forcefully pick up Moch Subchi Azal Tsani (MSAT) alias Mas Bechi (42) at the boarding school Jombang.
Joko said the orator was one of the administrators of the Shiddiqiyyah Organization named Edi Setiawan.
Furthermore, the video took place in the courtyard of the residence of the Musryid Shiddiqiyyah KH Muhammad Muchtar Mu’thi on Friday (8/7) afternoon. At that time, Orshid administrators welcomed the arrival of 318 people who were repatriated from the Jombang Police Station. It consists of 75 students and 243 Shiddiqiyyah congregations.

“We don’t attack, they attack. We don’t fight, they beat and kick us. We are only defending for our self-respect as students of the Shiddiqiyyah Islamic Boarding School who defend warasatul ambiya clerics, namely he is our Supreme Master Mr. KH Muhammad Muchtar Mu’ thi. And we defend our pesantren which has been entered by those whose conscience is closed, “he added.
The orator then mentioned that what the congregation experienced was a sacrifice for the success of Shiddiqiyyah and Indonesia Raya. He then asked if the Shiddiqiyyah called if the congregation was ready. the answer was then answered with the readiness of the congregation.
“Just like the battle of badr, every drop of sweat from all of our friends here, every pain you hit and kick, every blood that drips from our wounds, all for the glory of Shiddiqiyyah, for the glory of Indonesia Raya,” said the orator. .
“If the Shiddiqiyyah call us again, are we ready to fight, are we ready to fight, are we ready to defend the Shiddiqiyyah, are we ready to defend the Master? (Welcome to the shouts of Ready). After the video was spread widely, the orator Edi Setiawan gave clarification. He confirmed that the orator in the video was him. Meanwhile, the congregation in the video are 318 students and the Shiddiqiyyah congregation who had just been released by the police.
According to Edi, at that time the 318 congregations and santri returned in a state of loss of enthusiasm, limp and crying with emotion. For that, he encouraged them.
In his speech, Edi deliberately brought the story of the battle of Badr because the arrival of 318 Shiddiqiyyah congregations and santri at that time was greeted with a celebratory prayer. Regarding the question ‘Are we ready for war?’, Edi said that the purpose of war is to fight against lust.
“Are we ready to fight against lust? I mean that’s what we want to convey as the end and wisdom of the war of badr. It’s just that I admit that I was wrong when I spoke because I had to swallow my saliva because I was deeply moved, so there was a slip of the tongue,” said Edi in his clarification statement.
“So I just said ‘ready for war?’ Who should be ‘ready to fight against lust?’,” he added.
