Upper Loire. One injured in a dramatic loss of control on the RN88

On Thursday morning, shortly after 9, there was a traffic accident on the RN88, in the descent just before the Pont-Salomon viaduct, towards Le Puy-en-Velay / Saint-Etienne.

A 19-year-old lost control of his Renault Clio, which overturned twice, before stopping in the right lane.

Traffic stopped during rescue operations

First aid from the fire brigade, the young driver, slightly injured, was taken to the hospital.

Traffic was cut off and reduced to one lane during rescue operations.

According to the first evidence collected on the spot, the wet road could be the main cause of the loss of control.
