“In general, there is an increase in dengue cases. It revealed that the additional cases came from 64 regencies / cities in 4 provinces including West Java, East Java, Central Java and East Kalimantan.

The districts / cities that recorded the highest dengue cases were Bandung City with 4196 cases, Bandung Regency with around 2777 cases, Bekasi City with 2059 cases, Sumedang Regency with around 1647 cases and Tasikmalaya City reported up to 1542 cases.

Maxi said the Ministry of Health continues to carry out massive and simultaneous control and prevention efforts involving all parties, both centrally and regionally.
