Updates to Doom and Doom 2 add widescreen mode

The re-releases of Doom and Doom 2 can now be played in widescreen thanks to recent updates.

Thanks to the update, the classic games are now playable in an aspect ratio of 16: 9. As a result, players see more of the left and right sides of the game, while nothing is lost at the top and bottom.

Via the updates it is also possible to enable a crosshair. When an enemy enters the crosshair, it changes color. On PC, Switch and PlayStation 4 there is now also gyro aim for controllers. There is also a new difficulty setting called Ultra-Violence +. Only weapons from Deathmatch mode can be used against enemies that are just as powerful as in Nightmare mode.

More details about the updates are here to find.
