Riding hall renovation
Mayor Martin Wietzel reported on the current status of the renovation of the riding arena. Two offers for the roof renovation in the six-figure range have been received, which are currently being examined. The high sum makes a broader call for tenders necessary. Funds for the roof renovation are no longer available in the 2023 budget and must be made available for the 2024 budget. Offers have also been received for the fire protection measures. Before the summer break, another municipal council meeting is necessary to award the fire protection measures.
Local councilor Kurt Wunderle would prefer to take out a loan for the measure. “The loan pays for itself through the rental income.” Mayor Wietzel already had the same idea, but municipalities are only allowed to take out loans for sovereign tasks.
