The Competitions Department of the Association of Clubs (AdC) carried out the category meetings corresponding to the National League and the Argentine League, prior to the Assembly of the AdC.
The objective is to start working on the game format and the dates that the 40th season of the highest category of national basketball will have, where Oberá Tenis Club will participate, in addition to the representatives from Corrientes, Regatas Corrientes, San Martín and Comunicaciones and at the same time the corresponding seasons of Liga Argentina and Liga de Desarrollo, which would begin on October 11.
In this way, a format similar to that of the 2022/23 season is foreseen, which will be defined in the Assembly to be held on Friday, July 21.

The tentative date for the start of the 2023/24 season is October 11, with a total of 38 games for each team during the regular season that will run until April 26, 2024. It should be noted that At the end of the first round, the Super 20 Cup will be held with the four teams best located in the positions.
Among the primary objectives are the improvement of the fixture for next season, making it more equitable in terms of sport and minimizing the distances covered by the teams, taking into account a balance regarding the number of continuous home and away games.
It should be remembered that for the preparation of the calendar, different sporting events outside of the La Liga competition itself are taken into account, such as the Basketball Champions League, the South American League and the Interligas to be played in two venues (one in Brazil and another in Argentina).
Basketball Champions League:
Quimsa, Boca (champion and runner-up of the 2022/23 Season) and Obras (best ranked team according to the Fiba 361 criteria that includes LN, LDD, LFB and 3×3).
South American League:
Gymnastics (Super 20 Cup champion), Instituto and Oberá Tenis Club (due to its final position in the 22/23 season).
Binds:
Corrientes, Riachuelo, Olímpico and Platense regattas (due to their final position in the 22/23 season).
Among the outstanding administrative dates, Friday the 30th appears as the closure for the transfer of places and July 21 for the free debt report.
Argentine League 23/24
The start date is set for October 15 with a first round of nine weeks until December 15 where each team is expected to play half of their regular phase games.
The summer break will be from December 23 to January 5, picking up on January 6 with another nine weeks where the teams will play the second half of their regular phase games.
The format of the Second Division of this basketball, as proposed in this meeting, will be identical to that of last season that consecrated Zárate Basket.
Regarding the conformation of the squad, the proposal includes four training U23s, of which one can be borrowed and one can be recently incorporated, although the latter must be a maximum of U21s.
Development League 23/24
It will have the same calendar as that of the National League and, as it had been developing, it will be played the day before the game in the highest category.
Final 4 will take place once the quarterfinal stage of La Liga has concluded, approximately between May 2, 3 and 4, 2024. As happened this season, both the champion and the runner-up will participate in the Development Interleague with the Brazilian League.
