Were you tempted to play the sci-fi action Scars Above, but the lack of localization somewhat deterred you from playing? Well, we have great news for you. On PC, you no longer have to wait for Czech, because this work has a similar situation as in the case of Hogwarts Legacy and Atomic Heart. For the creators, due to the relatively small amount of text, it was a canape, thanks to which it also served to some extent as a test piece for a different way of translations. In the end, however, the group returned to DeepL again, with the text subsequently corrected. Rudolf Pokorný himself highlights above all the speed of this method. It is precisely through this aspect that it slightly kicks traditional localization creators. You have available translations published so far here.
What is interesting about the situation surrounding Scars Above is that, at least according to the comment attached below, it is supposed to be a creation sanctified by the local distribution. However, according to the local distributor, this is not true. Only the publisher approves the implementation of localizations and is also responsible for their quality. The comment below is therefore false.
On the website prekladyher.eu at the same time, traditional “manually” translated Czech is created, which, thanks to the shortness of the game, you should be able to find within a few days on this link. Thanks to the translator, who goes by the name Farflame, for the warning.
