Updated Porsche Panamera liftback installed new record Nurburgring in the category “Executive cars”. The lap time was 7 minutes 29.81 seconds. The previous record was held by the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S (7 minutes and 30.11 seconds).
At the wheel restyled The Porsche Panamera, which has not yet been unveiled, was the company’s test driver Lars Kern. The liftback, as close as possible to the production model, took part in the race.
The premiere of the novelty should take place before the end of this year. According to unofficial data, the car will be equipped with an upgraded 4.0-liter gasoline engine with a 630 horsepower output.
Lars Ken previously set a new Nürburgring Nordic Loop record among four-door electric cars at the wheel of Porsche’s first production electric car, the Taycan. The car was able to cover the 20.6 km section in 7:42.
