The information that appeared on the internet earlier this weekend about the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild appears to come from an old issue of a gaming magazine.
It is a GamesRadar + guide, which discusses various Switch games that may have been released in 2019 and 2020. Earlier this weekend it was claimed on the internet that the information came from a flyer from Nintendo itself.
The magazine caption reads: “Finally, Link and Zelda return in the highly anticipated sequel to the unforgettable action adventure The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Producer Eiji Aonuma promises a darker adventure this time. Deep in the caves below Hyrule Castle, a new powerful threat awakens. Can our heroic heroes save the kingdom again? ‘
Because the information appears to come from a game magazine where people have as much information about the game as the rest of the world, the above information does not say anything about the potential locations of the game or the possible dark atmosphere.
It is not yet known when the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be released. The game has been announced for the Nintendo Switch.
