update with bug fixes and more

Apple released the beta from iOS 13.3.1 out, but now it’s time for the final version. If you recently encountered crashes or other problems, this update may have solved this. Both iOS 13.3.1 as iPadOS 13.3.1 are now available, so you can not only your iPhone but you too iPad to update. It has bug fixes and a new switch to disable the location tracking of the U1 Ultra Wideband chip.

iOS 13.3.1 available

Apple released in December iOS 13.3 out, which contained a number of new functions. So were Communication limits added, with which you can set who you or your child can contact. However, there was one bug in the communication limits, making this easy to bypass. Apple promised improvement in a future update, so hopefully that is now solved with iOS 13.3.1. Because the update has just been released, we do not yet know what the exact bug fixes are.

In addition, some users of the iPhone XR in the United Kingdom connection problems with the provider O2. Possibly Apple this also fixed in this update. What we know for sure is that Apple has added a new switch. In Settings> Privacy> Location Services> System is now a switch for Networks and wireless. You ensure that your location can no longer be used by the new Ultra Wideband chip.

Download iOS 13.3.1
To iOS 13.3.1 to download, do the following:

1. Go on you iPhone to Settings> General> Software Update. Wait until the update appears.
2. Tap on Download and install.
3. Wait until your device has restarted and the installation is complete.

You can also perform the update via iTunes or the Finder. Close for that iPhone or iPad with a cable to you Mac or PC and open iTunes or the Finder macOS Catalina. Click on your connected device and choose Search for update. The update is then downloaded and then installed on your device.

If you are on the beta of iOS 13.3.1, you may have to delete the beta profile before you can update. You do this via Settings> General> Profile. You can then download and install the update according to the steps above.
