Curaçao
On Curaçao, an increase in the number of active cases has been seen in recent days (calculated from Thursday to Sunday). In these days, nearly 800 active cases have been added. More than nine hundred people were tested positive during this period and 117 people recovered. Three people who tested positive have also died.
Yesterday 1176 people were tested on Curaçao. 223 of them got a positive result.
In the hospital on Curaçao there are now 68 people who have tested positive. Nineteen of them are in intensive care.
The number of active cases in Curaçao is now 2,432.
Aruba
More than three hundred people have been tested positive in Aruba since Wednesday. Because many people have also recovered, the number of active cases rose by less than 40.
Today 561 people were tested in Aruba and 35 people received a positive result.
In the hospital in Aruba are now 46 people who have tested positive. Twelve of them are in intensive care. Fifty people have also recovered.
Aruba now has 604 active cases. Sixty of them are visitors to the island.
Bonaire
The number of active cases on Bonaire is, after last week’s peak, falling again. Since Thursday, almost a hundred new positive tests have been added. On the other hand, 169 people have recovered. However, the number of hospital admissions has increased in recent days.
38 people were tested on Bonaire. Sixteen of them got a positive result.
Bonaire now has 16 hospital admissions related to Covid-19. Fourteen people are in hospital on Bonaire. Five of these are in the intensive care department. One person is in the hospital on Curaçao and one person in the hospital on Aruba. A total of 38 people have recovered.
Bonaire now has 371 active cases.
