On September 18, Nintendo released a limited physical version of Super Mario 3D All-Stars. The collection contains three titles, all of which have improvements compared to the original. The screen resolution has been adjusted to fit completely on the screen of the Switch and the controls have been adjusted for the Joy-Con. These are not remakes of the games, but optimized versions for the Switch.
It is striking that Nintendo also released the game as a download on September 18, but the game will no longer be available after a while. Nintendo provides more clarity on its own website. There it is stated that the game will be sold until the end of March 2021, after which you can no longer buy the title. If you have already purchased the game, you can download it again once you have archived the software.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars just one of many announcements
In addition to the announcement of a 3D All-Stars, there is also a 2D All-Stars planned. It is available from today to anyone with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. This gives you access to a SNES collection. The Super Mario 2D All-Stars will be added to that later today.
