Users can expand the storage capacity of the PS5 console.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Sony has rolled out an update for the PlayStation 5 (PS5). The highlight of this update is the ability to save games PS5 via external USB storage.
Users can expand the storage capacity of the PS5 console by transferring unused game data to an external USB. If you want to play it back, users can reinstall PS5 games from USB storage to the console.
PS5 games cannot be played directly from external USB storage. This is because PS5 games are designed to take advantage of the ultra high speed SSDs of the console. PS5 games also cannot be downloaded directly to external USB storage.
Reporting from Comic Book, Thursday (15/4), when it was first launched, PS5 had several problems firmware. For example, if there is a disc in the console, it will spin and make a loud sound in the process. It was not clear at the time why this happened. Supposedly, the console should remain fairly quiet.
According to Comic Book and some gamer reports, this problem has decreased since the update. With the update installed, the PS5 still randomly plays the disc, but the sound it makes while doing this is not that loud.
