Merdeka.com – The government has again reported the development of data on Covid-19 vaccination recipients in Indonesia. As of Monday (12/7), there were 36,368,191 people who had received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, or an increase of 101,172 people.
While the recipients of the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine increased by 25,120 to 15,0316,468 people. This figure is the number of vaccine data that has been targeted by the government as many as 40,349,049 people must receive the Covid-19 vaccination.
For information, the Covid-19 vaccination is a government step to establish herd immunity or community immunity in the community.
The Covid-19 vaccination in Indonesia is divided into four stages. The first stage for health workers, the target is to reach 1,468,764 people. The second stage is for public service officers and the elderly with 17,327,167 and 21,553,118 people respectively.
While the third stage is for vulnerable communities in areas with a high risk of transmission, the target is to reach 63.9 million people. The last stage is for the general public with a cluster approach, the total target is 77.7 million people.
