Update on Baron Corbin, Tegan Nox and Indi Hartwell’s departures – Cora Jade, Roxanne Perez and CM Punk are working on a comeback from AJ Lee – WWE viewership information on Netflix

Last night we reported HERE about WWE parting ways with Baron Corbin, Tegan Nox and Indi Hartwell. An update now states that Baron Corbin’s contract has not yet expired. The 40-year-old was informed yesterday that his contract, which expires at the end of the year, will no longer be extended. Meanwhile, Tegan Nox and Indi Hartwell’s contracts have been terminated, as reported. While Tegan Nox and Indi Hartwell first have to wait for the 90-day non-appearance clauses and are therefore only allowed to appear for other promotions in February 2025, Corbin has to wait until the end of his contract at the end of 2024. According to Fightful Select, several indie promotions have already inquired about possible bookings from Baron Corbin. The Welsh Tegan Nox and the Australian Indi Hartwell would first have to clarify the work visa problem in order to be able to continue performing in the USA. It is currently assumed that there will be no further layoffs for the time being. All three have now also spoken out about X:

Even after “Monday Night RAW” switches to Netflix next year, there will continue to be information on viewership, but not as promptly as is the case with the TV ratings. For example, the specific viewership numbers for the Netflix documentary about Vince McMahon are only now known. In the week from September 23 to September 29, 2024, the show was viewed 4.904 million times worldwide, of which 2.522 million views were in the USA. It should be noted that this is the total number of views, such as on YouTube, not the average number of viewers like the TV ratings. In the second week, from September 30th to October 6th, there were still 3.9 million views worldwide, but in the USA there were only 1.386 million views.

Cora Jade revealed in an interview with TV Insider that she is working with Roxanne Perez and CM Punk to convince AJ Lee to make a comeback. When asked if she believes AJ Lee will return to the ring, she said:

I don’t know it. I hope so. I’m working on it. Roxy and I are bugging him (CM Punk) about it. I know he (Punk) does it with her too, so we’ll see. When it happens, you’ll have me to thank.
