TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) scheduled an examination of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, his wife, Putri Candrawati; and his aide, Bhayangkara Dua Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu alias Bharada E di Mako Brimob, Kelapa Dua, Depok today. However, only Ferdy Sambo was successfully examined.
“So today we are only asking for information from Pak Ferdy,” said Komnas HAM Commissioner Beka Ulung Hapsara at a press conference at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters, Friday, August 12, 2022.
To Komnas HAM, Ferdy Sambo admitted that he was the main actor behind the murder of his own aide, Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J. Ferdy Sambo. from the beginning manipulated and distorted information so that the incident of Brigadier J .’s murder consequence shootout case.
“He admitted earlier that it was his own plan and he was guilty of that action,” he said Komnas HAM chairman Ahmad Taufan Damanik.
The condition of Ferdy Sambo’s wife, Putri Candrawati, is not yet stable
Komnas HAM should also ask for information from Ferdy Sambo’s wife, Princess Candrawathi, today. But the Princess was unable to.
Komnas HAM commissioner Beka Ulung Hapsara said Putri’s lawyer informed his party that Putri was not ready to be questioned. “The examination was supposed to be tonight, but Mrs. Putri just confirmed asking to be postponed,” said Beka.
Beka said that his party cannot force it if Putri Candrawati is not willing to be examined and is still looking for a replacement time for examination. “Time will be sought as soon as possible, the most important thing is how to get the information in question without pressure, comfort and so on, that’s a principle of human rights,” said Beka. “We don’t want to cause Mrs. Putri to be traumatized again,” he added.
Bharada E Unable to Attend
Komnas HAM also canceled the investigation of Bhayangkara Dua Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu or Bharada E at the Mobile Brigade Command Headquarters. Beka Ulung Hapsara explained that the plan for the examination of Bharada E to be carried out simultaneously with the examination of Ferdy Sambo.
“Regarding the planned inquiry for Bharada E, it did not happen, because at the same time, the person concerned was conducting an assessment at the LPSK,” Beka said during a press conference at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters, Kelapa Dua, Depok.
Beka said that the Komnas HAM team today only conducted an examination of Ferdy Sambo. “So today we only ask for information from Pak Ferdy,” said Beka.
According to Beka, the Komnas HAM team will reschedule the examination Bharada E on Monday, August 15, 2022 at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit. “We postponed it until next Monday,” said Beka.
