Arkia Airlines will operate 3 flights this week from Thailand to Israel. The flights will have a refueling stop in Mumbai, India.
The special flights will take off from Thailand tomorrow, Monday October 30, at 11:35. Two days after tomorrow, Tuesday 31.10 at 13:20, and on Wednesday 1.11 at 15:20. These flights stop to refuel in India, because the fuel tanks in Arkia’s Airbus planes are not enough for a direct and long flight of more than 5 hours.
The tickets for these flights will cost from only 259 dollars, compared to a cost of about 1,000 dollars for regular flights on this line on other airlines.

The flights from Israel to Thailand will be full of Thai passengers who want to escape from Israel to their homeland. Arkia also wants to fill the flights back to Israel, and therefore offers them at a very discounted price.
Beyond the specific issue of these special flights, there is great interest in the overall aspect of renewing Arkia’s ability to fly long distances beyond the flight range of its narrow-body aircraft.
