Prosecutors from the Constance Court Prosecutor’s Office arrested and asked for 30 days of pre-trial detention for a man who allegedly stole four cans, the institution reports. Prosecutors gave press release for the deed with a damage of 39 lei.

UPDATE 20:04 The man allegedly committed other acts, according to G4Media sources, but these alleged antecedents are not specified in the official press release.

UPDATE 20:25 Magistrates of the Court of Constance they refused request of the prosecutors who have not applied any restrictive measure to the man, asking for his “immediate release”.

UPDATE 21:03 In the initial news, the information was sent that the case was handled by the prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Constance Court, rather than by the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Constance Court.

The statement states that on November 1, “around 11:20 pm, during the night”, a man would have left a shop in Costanza with a package containing 4 boxes of Rio Mare tuna without paying for it, thus causing damage of almost 40 lei “not recovered until now”.
