The time has finally come! Ubisoft and the developers at Massive Entertainment have today, September 10, 2024, released the Update 1.001.001 for “Star Wars Outlaws“ Let’s see which of the many bugs in the game have been fixed!
But as we promised in advance, the developers didn’t wait long and have now released the “Star Wars Outlaws Update 1.001.001”, which also reflects patch 1.1.2. This was also announced by Ubisoft two days ago.
In the early days of Star Wars Outlaws, there was a lot of criticism and complaints. Some bugs and showstoppers in the open world game left some players feeling a bit left alone. But now it seems that almost all of the bugs in the open world universe have been fixed, we can finally complete the “transmissions” and a lot more!

- Adjustments and improvements to some challenging stealth moments.

Performance & Stability
- Various crash fixes and stability improvements across all platforms.
- PC performance improvements and optimization throughout the game.
- Improved FPS drops in some scenes.
- Improved VRAM usage.
- Higher graphics quality using ray reconstruction and frame generation technologies.
UI, HUD and Settings
- The game version will now be displayed in the settings.
- Quality mode is enabled by default on consoles.
- Correct default settings for motion blur in quality mode on consoles.
- HDR brightness values have been adjusted.
Chart
- Various graphics and lighting fixes.
- All cutscenes are now supported on ultra-widescreen displays.
Audio
- Fixed an issue that could cause music to be lost when fast traveling in Toshara.
Worlds, fauna and flora
- Many additional idle animations for NPCs have been added on all planets.
- Fixed an issue that caused a part to be missing from the Imperial Speeder Bike 74-z.
General Gameplay
- It is now less likely to be detected while rolling.
- The detection level was adjusted depending on the location.
MAIN & SIDE QUESTS (Warning: Spoilers)
Toshara
- Fixed an issue that caused the energy barricade in Kerro’s Speakeasy to not deactivate after successfully hacking the terminal.
- “The Underworld” – The number of NPCs has been adjusted and environmental markers have been added to make infiltration easier.
- “The Mechanics” – Fixed an issue that caused Kay to spawn outside the quest area if she died inside the wind turbine.
- “The Wreck” – AI detection has been adjusted.
- Hyperspace – Fixed an issue where the takeoff prompt was not displayed.
Tatooine
- “Partners” – Fixed an issue that caused Kay to not receive Wanted Levels on other planets when completing the “Meet Hoss at the Cantina” objective.
Akiva
- “The Veteran” – Fixed an issue where the “Report to Droid” objective would not update after reporting to MT-7.
Miscellaneous
- The Good Old School trophy can now be unlocked by PlayStation 5 players, meaning the last broadcast is no longer broken!
- Inverting one axis in the Controls menu no longer inverts the other axis in Photo Mode.
- Nix’s accessories and treats can now be checked in the equipment menu while Kay Vess is piloting the Trailblazer ship.
Although there has been some criticism of the bugs in Star Wars Outlaws so far, we would like to thank Ubisoft for the quick patch! The update was released quickly and fixes most of the bugs that disrupted the gaming experience. This prompt response shows that the team is listening to the community’s feedback and is continuously working to improve the game. We look forward to continuing to immerse ourselves in this fascinating world, now with a much more stable and smoother gaming experience.
