There could be an open meeting of the United Nations Security Council next Tuesday.
A possible topic for discussion is the explosion of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines that happened last fall.
An event to discuss the incident could take place on July 11.
At least, the Russian side made a corresponding request.

The relevant information is published in the Telegram channel of Dmitry Polyansky, who is the Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN.
Polyansky’s statement
The diplomat wrote that the Russian Federation had requested a meeting for next Tuesday.
According to Polyansky, the Russian side plans to question the West’s position on clarifying the circumstances of the incident.
Thus, in Western countries it is noted that international efforts are not needed to investigate what happened: allegedly, the participation of Danish, German and Swedish specialists is enough.
Russia asked the UK to invite representatives from Denmark, Germany and Sweden to report.
Polyansky also promised that the Russian side would invite several speakers to the event. According to the diplomat, these people will not be biased.
However, the Deputy Russian Permanent Representative has not yet named the names of possible speakers.
