Upcoming Social Security Payment: $1,800 to be Sent on July 26

On a monthly basis, the Administration of the Social Security (SSA) send money to different recipients, including retired and surviving workers. It also mandates disability payments, which include the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).

The SSA has already sent some payments for this month and is preparing to send the last payment on July 26.

$1,800 Social Security Payments on July 26: Who Will Get It?

According to the schedule established by the SSA, generally, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits are mailed on the first day of each month. However, if the first day of the month falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the payment is advanced to the last Friday of the previous month.

On the other hand, the 3rd day of each monththe SSA sends the money to the beneficiaries who began receiving their payments before May 1997. If the third day of the month falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the payment is also advanced.

The rest of the checks are sent the days Wednesday, according to date of birth of the beneficiaries:

Taking into account the previous schedule, since the first day of July fell on a Saturday, this month’s SSI payment was advanced and mailed on June 30. That is why SSI recipients received two payments in June, but have no payments scheduled in July.

In addition, this month, the SSA already sent payment for beneficiaries who began receiving their benefits before May 1997. On July 12, payment was sent for beneficiaries with dates of birth between the 1st and 10th. On the other hand, on July 19, money was sent for beneficiaries with dates of birth between the 11th and 20th.

The last payment of the month, scheduled for the July 26will be sent to Beneficiaries with a date of birth between the 21st and 31st.

Payments are sent via direct deposit to payees who have shared their banking information with SSA. The rest is sent via postal mail.
