Pokemon Concierge, Netflix’s upcoming stop-motion series, has been given a December 2023 release window and a new teaser starring Psyduck and Lampent.
The teaser, which you can watch below, also stars Haru, a young Pokémon janitor who works at the Pokémon complex in which the series takes place. The clip doesn’t give us much, but it does show that she is working with a Psyduck who is the receptionist!
We see the couple notice a Lampent flying through the hallway and although they seem concerned about what the flying lamp Pokémon is doing off-screen, they quickly go back to being happy and calm as if nothing too serious had happened.
Pokemon Concierge is a new and original story being made in association with dwarf studio, a company that has previously worked on other animations like Monsters at Work, Trash Truck, and more.
Netflix has also released a behind-the-scenes video that sees Haru’s voice actor Non giving a tour of the studio. In addition to showing off a few more Pokemon that seem to appear in the series, we get to see how the magic is done to bring this series to life.
Pokemon Concierge will also be one of the first new Pokemon series after the end of Ash Ketchum’s journey in the original anime. Pokemon Concierge will join Pokemon Horizons, the new anime starring dual leads Liko and Roy, Friede and Captain Pikachu, and more.
