Social Work De Kop is organizing two meetings next week: MS Café on Thursday morning, November 9, in the Sustainable Doing Info Point at Kerkstraat 4 and the Brain Injury Meeting Point in MFC De Korf on Monday afternoon, November 13.
The MS Café is for people who have the disease MS (Multiple Sclerosis), but informal caregivers and other interested parties are also welcome. The aim is to contact fellow sufferers, share information and have a bit of fun. This time the MS Café will take place on November 9 at the Sustainable Doing Information Point, where information will be provided about biodiversity, energy and saving. Coffee is ready at 10am. There are no costs involved.
On Monday, November 13, there will be a Brain Injury Meeting Point in De Korf in MFC De Zuidwester at Gasthuisslaan 84. The Brain Injury Meeting Point is organized by Mantelzorg Network Steenwijkerland, part of Social Work De Kop. The working group consists of volunteers, neurology nurses from Zorggroep Oude en Nieuwe Land, Informal Care Network Steenwijkerland and supervisors from Interact Contour. The meetings are for people who have been affected by Acquired Brain Injury (NAH) and have to deal with its consequences. Informal caregivers/relatives and other interested parties are also very welcome. This time, Paula Bierma from Social Work De Kop will talk about Positive Health and we will work on it together.
