Upcoming Gaming Events and Presentations: E3 2023 Highlights and More

PlayStation Showcase 2023 is behind us, but that was just the vanguard, as you no doubt know. This year’s E3 was supposed to take place from June 13 to 16, but the fair was eventually cancelled. However, from our point of view, the “non-E3” program starts already in the coming week. In order to at least make it a little easier for you to find your way around the really rich offer of conferences, broadcasts, streams and publications, I decided to compile a list of the most important presentations for you again. Although I cannot yet promise you with certainty which events we will bring with Czech commentary and which will not, you can take this as an overview of the potentially most interesting things we will choose from. Just like last year, we will continuously add to the list. However, since there are many more game events, we repeatedly recommend that you also follow the website Game Conference Guidewhich is created by Pavol Buday and specializes in similar events throughout the year.

June 7, Guerrilla Collective Online Showcase

Action Guerrilla Collective 2023 this year it falls on June 7-13, but the online showcase will start on June 7 at 6 p.m. our time. The organizers invite new announcements, trailers and gameplay samples from many of the world’s biggest developers and publishers. This year, there will even be a physical presentation in Los Angeles on June 8.

June 8, Summer Game Fest

Host and presenter Geoff Keighley beckons Summer Game Fest and it will probably be one of the most important presentations in terms of reveals and big games next to Xbox. The live stream is on June 8th at 9pm and we’ll be watching the event with an audience at the YouTubeTheater in Los Angeles. The biggest gaming companies including Sony and Microsoft will be there.

June 8, Devolver Direct

Devolver Digital’s presentation will begin at midnight Thursday through Friday our time. It should offer new notifications and a few surprises. As usual, it will undoubtedly be a non-conformist show that can be as entertaining on its own as the games that appear on it.

June 9, Tribeca Games Showcase

At 21:00 our time, the games will be presented as part of the Tribeca festival. Here, too, there will be new announcements, gameplay and interviews.

Organizers promise over 50 titles and the event will be moderated by Yuri Lowenthal (Peter Parker) and Laura Bailey (Mary Jane Watson).

June 11, Xbox Summer Games Showcase

June 11, PC Gaming Show

Exclusively focused on PC games PC Gaming Show will start on June 11 at 10 p.m. CET and also traditionally attracts dozens of games. From our point of view, perhaps the most interesting thing is that a new historical strategy from the Brno studio Ashborne Games will finally be revealed at this event.

June 12, Ubisoft Forward Live

Ubisoft will present its upcoming news on June 12 at 7 p.m. our time. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Assassin’s Creed Mirage or The Crew: Motorfest will appear here, among others. But we also know for sure about the introduction of some as yet unannounced title. Could it be the speculated Star Wars? Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR is also to be presented here. Maybe we’ll learn something about Skull and Bones, too. On the contrary, we do not expect news on the Prince of Persia account. The press show starts 15 minutes earlier.
