In just over two weeks, your favorite radio station may no longer be on the FM frequency you are used to. Radio 10 will take over the frequencies from Radio Veronica, DPG Media will take over from Radio 10 and Radio Veronica will receive the FM frequencies from SLAM!. Nothing will change for Sky Radio, Radio 538, Qmusic and BNR: they will continue to be heard on their current FM frequencies from September.
Radio 10 has now started with reporting in which it alerts the listener to the new FM frequencies. Radio 10 listeners who do not move along will hear DPG Media with, most likely, JOE on that FM frequency from September 1.
Incidentally, many modern FM radios will automatically switch to the new FM frequency of, for example, Radio 10 next month. “You only have to change the frequency once with an older radio,” according to the station.
These FM frequencies change:
> 103.0/103.2 FM: Radio 10 (was Radio Veronica)
> 91.1/95.2 FM: Radio Veronica (was SLAM!)
> 103.8/104.1 FM: DPG Media, probably with JOE (was Radio 10)
> 90.5/90.7 FM: Financial News Radio (was Sublime)
SLAM! and Sublime both lose their national FM network, although SLAM can still be heard on the regional FM band in the Randstad.
These FM frequencies remain the same:
> 100.4 FM/100.7 FM: Qmusic
> 102 FM: Radio 538
> 101 FM: Sky Radio
> 91.3/100.1 FM: BNR news radio
> 104.4/104.6 FM: 100% NL
