Summer is winding down and, to say goodbye in the best possible way, a long series of festivals, markets and the ever-awaited fireworks are on the way, which will put on a show over the weekend of 2 and 3 September.
On the Marconi di Paratico lakefront, the market “A Dive into the Past” is back: now in its thirteenth edition, it is an event for hobbyists with dozens of antique and creative stalls. Also on Sebino, on the lakefront of Clusane, the third edition of the Poor Fish Festival will be held, an event created to promote tasty dishes with lake fish and products from Franciacorta.
In Montichiari, in the pavilions of the Garda Exhibition Center, the appointment with the Electronics Fair returns, the market exhibition dedicated to IT, hi-tech, computer, video, HI-FI and vintage radio enthusiasts, components and amateur radio equipment.
In Brescia, for lovers of beer and music, the BFEST of Buffalora in the spaces of the Parish of the Nativity of Mary is not to be missed, while at the Festa Popolare di Fornaci it will be possible to experience beautiful moments of conviviality and taste a rich menu with many goodies culinary, from spit to fish paella, from tripe to beef in oil and much more.
Fireworks chapter: the 75th edition of the historic fair is celebrated in Orzinuovi, with hundreds of exhibitors, street food and – the icing on the cake – the fireworks display for the grand finale. For those wishing to enjoy the fires, but staying closer to the city, in Rovato there is the Festa di Sant’Andrea with live music and a rich food stand. But be careful: the festival will be held from Thursday to Monday, but only on the latter day, at 10.30 pm, will the awaited fireworks display take place.
The complete list of appointments is available on our “What to do in the city” page, but – like every week – we have chosen the best ones especially for you: here is our selection, and Happy New Year everyone!
