Louie Fontaine is a singer, guitarist and bassist who writes songs in a variety of musical styles that often present amusing and original stories.
Fontaine’s album ‘The Sun Ain’t Black’, which will also be heard at the upcoming concert, is the result of three decades of experience. The album was recorded in the Americana style, where you can primarily listen to blues, country and hard rock music genres.
Louie Fontaine’s band will include such musicians as Artis Ločmelis from the band “Latvian Blues Band”; Rick Feds, who is considered one of the world’s best finger drummers and is also the current drummer in the band “Jumprava”; Fontaine’s longtime bandmate and guitar virtuoso Rick Heart, who also plays instruments such as Hammond organ and pedal steel guitar; finally, Louis Fontaine’s son, Fandango Fontaine, who is a versatile artist, talented painter and bassist, will also be joining the band.
Louie Fontaine will take the stage with the band shortly before world-renowned organist Lachy Dolley.
