The American Red Cross is asking people to take time out of holiday activities to donate blood or platelets. It’s common for donations to drop by more than 20% during the holiday season.
Anyone who donates before November 27 will receive an exclusive Red Cross cap. All donors giving blood Nov. 28-Dec. 15 can receive a $10 Amazon gift card via email.

December 8th. 9:00 am to 6:30 pm, Wesley United Methodist Church, 2200 16th Ave., Sterling.
December 12th. 11:30 – 17:30, Prophetstown-Lyndon-Tampico CUSD 3, 79 Grove St., Prophetstown.
