Upcoming blood drives in the agglomeration

Blood donation saves lives and changes the lives of a million people each year. After the drop in donations due to the COVID pandemic, stocks are being replenished. However, the effort must continue. Schedule of upcoming mobile collections in the metropolitan area.

Blood donation, in all its components, meets transfusion needs, whether regular, such as for cancer patients, or occasional, such as hemorrhages during childbirth or following an accident. Plasma donations help hemophiliacs, immunocompromised people, and people suffering from serious chronic diseases. Platelet donations help victims of hemorrhage but also patients suffering from leukemia or lymphoma or people undergoing treatments that alter the proper functioning of the bone marrow, such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy.

The drop in donations observed in 2022 is partially offset in 2023. Nevertheless, the French Blood Establishment (EFS) encourages donors to continue their efforts. On the occasion of the start of the school year, the EFS is counting on the generosity of students, but also of all potential donors who meet these criteria.

The House of donation welcomes you by appointment from Monday to Saturday at the CHU de La Tronche. The French Blood Establishment also organizes mobile collections in public spaces and buildings, also by appointment:
