The song “Kingdom of Broken Spears” was written in Ireland and Latvia, its authors are Artūrs Šingirejs, Liam Geddes, Kate Northrop, Mikus Frišfeld and Kate Rudzinska. “Time is the greatest and most divine gift we have been given. In times when you feel crushed and bent under the weight, the belief that time will heal and allow you to get back up can be the only thing that gives you strength. The song “Kingdom of Broken Spears” was written with this eternal question in mind,” says Don.
The video version of the song was created by the “film naked” team, the clip is directed by Toms Harjo, Ritvars Bluka is the cameraman, Ināra Shumeiko is the producer. “We all have several masks that we deftly change every day. In this interpretation, Don goes into the subconscious to confront them,” says Tom Harjo about the video concept.
Next year will mark several important events in Don’s musical career – he continues to work on the upcoming album, and has also announced a stadium concert, which will take place on August 17, 2024. “Time has taken me from the dream of the first song to the stadium concert, which is why this will be the title of my upcoming album and stadium concert next year,” says Don.
