The Childhood Education course leading to the Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree responds to the need for academic qualifications in the field of early childhood education.
Some of the study places are reserved for qualified graduates of the technical schools for social education (structure).
The course qualifies for leadership or specialist advice in all fields of child and youth welfare, e.g. education and upbringing in day-care centers, looking after children in school, open child and youth work, educational assistance for children, assistance for parents in raising children in institutions childcare, in cooperation offers between youth welfare and school as well as in all-day schools.
The public event series is a special offer “Kiel Childhood Education Evening Lecture”.

All those interested in childhood education (educational specialists, parents, teachers, those in charge of politics and administration as well as the interested public) are invited to a dialogue at Kiel University of Applied Sciences.
