Up to 40 museums in NY offer free tickets for National Museum Day – Telemundo New York (47)

Make a note on your calendar for Saturday, September 18, when Museum Day is commemorated, as up to 40 cultural institutions will offer free tickets in New York.

Once again this year, museums across the country and in our area will be offering free tickets to celebrate the date.

As part of the celebration, museums and cultural institutions across the country (over 1,000, to be exact!) Are providing free admission to anyone with a Museum Day ticket.

Participants can download one ticket per email address that will provide general admission access for two.

This year’s event, the 17th edition, is sponsored by the Quaker Oats Company. This year’s theme is “Experience America,” which encourages those to come back after last year’s cancellation.
