Light frosts are spreading throughout the country, and at the end of the week, a snowstorm will once again approach Finland.

The frost gauge can reach the -25 degree mark this week.
Of course, the most severe frosts are located in Lapland, but the night temperature can also drop to freezing in the southern parts of the country.
Cold air flows from the north and northeast, Foreca meteorologist Joonas Koskela says in the weather blog.
– Daytime temperatures drop as the week goes on, so that by the end of the week it will be freezing in most of the country during the day, Koskela writes.
Tuesday and Wednesday
On Tuesday, there will be scattered rains all over Finland, which will fall to the ground as snow in Lapland. At night, the temperature drops throughout the country, but in the west and south the readings still remain on the positive side.
Wednesday is mostly cloudy, but dry, except for southwestern Finland, where there may be some rain showers. The temperature is between 0 and 5 degrees, in Lapland between 0 and -6 degrees.
Thursday and Friday
At night, the frost also spreads to the south, when the weather clears up. In Lapland, the frost can be 20–25 degrees in some places.
Even during the day, the temperature remains low. In the southern and southwestern parts, it is 0-5 degrees plus, and in the eastern and northern parts, it stays on the side of freezing, around 0 and -5 degrees.
Friday night is also cold, and even in the south it can be 5 degrees below zero. This will be followed by a chance of snow showers as the temperature stays close to zero throughout the country.
– The forecast of this low pressure is still quite uncertain, but the associated snowfall area will spread to the eastern part of the country during Friday, Koskela says.
Pyry can spread during the evening to the central and eastern parts and also to the south at night.
Weekend
On Saturday, 5 to 10 centimeters of snow can accumulate in the driest places in the eastern parts of the country. Especially the snowfall forecast may still change during the week.
Saturday will be dusty in the west and north. During the night, the weather clears up throughout the country, and on Sunday the sun will be visible almost throughout the country.
Temperatures on Saturday will be between -6 and +4 degrees – plus degrees are only promised in the southern parts. On Sunday, most of Finland will move to the plus side and daytime temperatures are predicted to be between -3 and +6 – minus degrees will only occur in places in Lapland.
