This is because Baemin Hyundai Card users can receive a refund of the government’s discount on dining out in addition to the existing Baemin Point accumulation benefits. You can get a discount of up to 18% of your order.
On the 27th, the government announced that it is holding an event that provides a refund of 10,000 won (cash back or charge deduction for 4 orders of 20,000 won each) to users who order food out of delivery apps. The event starts on the 29th and the event ends until the budget is exhausted. All participants who order and pay for food delivered by card in the delivery app are eligible.
The 9 card companies participating in this event are KB Kookmin, NH Nonghyup, Lotte, BC, Samsung, Shinhan, Woori, Hana, and Hyundai Card. These cardholders can enter each card company’s app or website to apply for government food discount support, then go to the delivery app to place an order.
In fact, if you pay for a total of 4 times over 20,000 won each with these cards through the delivery app, you will receive a refund of 10,000 won for the 4th time.
It is used in Yogiyo, Coupangitsu, Wemepo, Peiko, Delivery Express, and Mookkebi, with the people of delivery first. Four apps, such as Thingdong, Myungsoo of Delivery, Calling, and Calling Zero, will participate after system maintenance.
The industry believes that Hyundai Card will most likely benefit from this event. This is because of the benefits of Baemin Hyundai Card, which was introduced on November 19th as the People of Delivery and PLCC (Commercial Mark) card.
PLCC card refers to a card that a non-card company, such as the People of Delivery, plans and creates with a credit card company. The People of Delivery created such a card to give greater benefits to Hyundai Card users who use their platform.

If a Baemin Hyundai Card user registers this card with Baemin Pay and orders food from the People of Delivery, they can earn up to 5.5% Baemin Points in the first 6 months. This is the accumulation rate of △basic 3% accrual plus △promotion accrual (6 months only) 2% plus △Baemin Pay’s own accrual 0.5%.
A representative of Hyundai Card said, “It is an exceptional benefit considering that the baemin pay accumulation rate is 0.5%.”
In addition, if you receive the government’s discount support for eating out, the discount will be wider.
For example, if you take the Baemin Hyundai Card and calculate 80,000 won (assuming 4 times of 20,000 won each) in the people of delivery, you can earn 4,400 won (5.5%) as baemin points. In theory, if you receive an additional refund of 10,000 won, you will receive a discount of 14,400 won. The discount rate is 18% (14,400 won / 8 million won).

Meanwhile, Shinhan Card is also operating a product that has partnered with Yogiyo. It is a Yogiyo check card launched in 2017.
Users of this card can receive a 15% discount on the Yogiyo order amount. Once a day, up to 4 times a month. The discount rate will be even larger if the government receives support for eating out discounts.
