A relative of a celebrity managed to build a successful career.
Andrei Mironov is rightfully considered one of the most talented and successful artists of the USSR. More than one generation of viewers admires his talent, but only the most devoted fans know that his older brother also connected his life with art.
As it turned out, Alexander Menaker, Mironov’s father, was married to ballerina Irina Laskari before Maria Maronova. They raised their son Cyril, but their marriage broke up, and the boy stayed with his mother.
Cyril has been passionate about art since childhood and decided to follow in his mother’s footsteps by becoming a ballet dancer. He was not at all embarrassed that in the Soviet Union this was considered far from being the most masculine profession. And in the end, thanks to his innate talent and hard work, he achieved great success. For a long time he was a ballet dancer, and then retrained as a choreographer.
The whole USSR knew the talented Cyril Laskari, but only those close to him guessed that he was the brother of Andrei Mironov. Relatives also tried to keep in touch with each other and saw each other regularly. They even had their own company, which included other celebrities, such as Vladimir Vysotsky and Vsevolod Abdulov.
