This project is expected to achieve several results, the most important of which is the development and modernization of the port interface, which was not suitable for the size and status of the port. It will also cause a great flow of vehicles and locomotives towards the customs and container port, and facilitate activity for merchants, customs clearance and heavy transport drivers.

The project, funded by the local authority of the Aden Governorate and under the direct supervision of the Aden Public Works Office, comes in conjunction with fruitful efforts led by His Excellency the Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden, in cooperation with the relevant ministerial authorities, which culminated in success in diverting the movement of ships and ships directly through the port of Aden after this was not possible for about 8 years.
