Unveiled “ZTE Axon 40 Ultra” Space Edition with up to 18GB RAM and 1TB Storage

Chinese telecommunications equipment maker ZTE has unveiled the Axon 40 Ultra Space Edition.

The Space Edition builds on the specs of the original Axon 40 Ultra model released in May, with a few design changes like the rear panel and camera bump, and offers up to 18GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

Key specs include a 6.8-inch Full HD+ curved AMOLED display with integrated third-generation under-display fingerprint recognition technology and support for a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a first-generation Snapdragon 8 processor.

A 16MP camera is integrated under the display, and a triple camera consisting of a 64MP main camera + 64MP ultra-wide-angle camera (with OIS) + 64MP periscope telephoto camera is provided on the back.

The charging speed of the 5000mAh battery has been improved from 65W to 80W. ZTE Axon 40 Ultra Space Edition will be officially sold in China on December 6 in 12GB + 512GB and 18GB + 1TB versions.

Prices were set at 5898 yuan (about 1.16 million won) and 7698 yuan (about 1.52 million won) respectively.
