Are you looking for something new to play in the post-apocalyptic genre?

The Remaining Colonies it can be for you. Entering the same genre as The Last of Us from Naughty Dog and Bend Studios Days awayis a zombie-centric third-person shooter.

Developed and published by Cat Soul Studios, The Remaining Colonies challenges players to establish their own sanctuary on the streets of a major city and the zombie-infested suburbs.

You have to stop enemies – zombies and people – as well as create alliances, choosing between FPS or TPS game modes.

“The CATX company has achieved a medical revolution. A drug called Catxone, technically a virus, was a wonderful product that cured all types of cancer and strengthened immunity. “Mankind was celebrating great victories,” the game’s synopsis begins.

“This is how the sixth began to disappear. After the disaster, some of the survivors banded together and established their own colonies. In this new post-apocalyptic world, humans were more dangerous than the dead. Create your own strategy and show leadership,” he continues.

As part of the Steam Next Fest, there will be a demo for The Remaining Colonies launched, giving users access to up to 20 minutes of the game – and the demo went up on the Steam demo board.

The demo should introduce you to the main mechanics of the game as you begin to learn how the virus started.

The developers explain that the demo only covers about 1% of the full version which is still under development.

In the single-player demo, players will be able to experience two location missions, face zombies, advance to level two, and experience basic weapon gameplay.

If you like the demo, the game is aiming for a November 15th release.

It’s worth keeping an eye out for what Steam Next Fest has to offer.

The Remaining Colonies we arrived early, with the event taking place between October 14th and 21st, so we should see more demos coming in the coming weeks.
