More and more fishermen from Burgas and Varna are bragging about an unusual catch of salmon trout. The species, which is typical of the Mediterranean Sea, is most often hooked on fishing rods in the harbor area. It is curious about him that he lives in both fresh and salt water. The first specimens were caught by native fishermen already last summer, and the sea wolves assume that the fish came from hatcheries in neighboring seas, Nova TV reported.
It turns out that salmon trout is not the only species unusual for the Black Sea that has been spotted by fishermen in recent years. The rest are sea hyena, sea bream, minnow, sea crow, stone fish, blue crab.
This year the small jellyfish appeared unusually early. Fishermen attribute it to the warm winter, which accelerated its reproduction. However, they are not happy about the increasing population of this species, because the specimens fill the nets and suffocate the fish.
The fishermen in Tsarevo have their own explanation for all the unusual processes that have been taking place in the native waters of the Black Sea in recent years. They believe that they are due to changes in the climate and the consequences of the war in Ukraine.
Among the anomalies is the absence of anchovies and sprats.
