PT Yamaha Indonesia Production of engines o YIMM officially stops production Yamaha Jupiter MX 150 in the country. This is a sign, they are now only focused on marketing the MX King 150 in the fast duck segment.
Yamaha’s certainty of stopping production of the Jupiter MX was also confirmed by YIMM’s Asst GM Marketing, Antonius Widiantoro at the Indonesia Motorcycle Show or the IMOS 2022 fair.

When detikOto browses the official Yamaha Indonesia website, the Jupiter MX 150 has in fact disappeared from the list of available products. Anton pointed out that his party’s decision to stop production of the vehicle was not due to the fact that it didn’t work or didn’t sell well, but it needs innovation.

Jupiter MX first entered Indonesia in mid-2005. In its time, the bike was a favorite of young people who love acceleration. Its existence also took time to become a close competitor for the Suzuki Satria F which appeared earlier.
During its journey in the Indonesian market, the Jupiter MX received several upgrades, starting with the still 135cc engine up to 150cc. After the appearance of the MX King, the Jupiter MX has practically never received any major updates, except for changes in graphics and colors.
Towards the death injection, even the Jupiter MX 150 rarely promoted Yamaha. Now, the manufacturer with the tuning fork logo leaves only three products in the motorcycle segment, namely MX-King, Jupiter Z1 and Vega Force.
