The second post-credits scene shows Sam several years after the events of the game. She seems to be suffering from PTSD. Her bedside table is full of pill bottles and there is also a book called Creature Myths of the Great Plains.
When her alarm goes off and she turns it off, she feels blood dripping down her arm. She can’t stop the bleeding and is then startled by a voice calling her name. Both the wound and the voice could be a hallucination.
It remains to be seen if there will be a sequel to Gus Dawn, but with this remake they have certainly taken advantage of the opportunity to pave the way for that. Fans can also look forward to the upcoming film Until Dawn.
