Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – American voters cast their votes in the country’s mid-term elections, amid a fierce race between Republicans and Democrats to control Congress in its two Houses, the Senate and the House of Representatives.

Starting at 11:25 PM ET (7:25 AM Mecca time), here are the predictions from CNN:

Parliament:

170 Republicans versus 118 Democrats

Senate:

46 Republicans versus 44 Democrats

Control of both houses of Congress is at stake as polls have closed right now in more than half of the states.
